Jakarta (Antara Bali) - An earthquake 5.2 on the Richter scale hit the East Java coastal city of Banyuwangi again  early Wednesday, the meteorology and geophysics office said.

The quake hit at  04:19:29 western Indonesian time  with epicenter  in the sea 10 kilometers deep , 294 kilometers southwest of Banyuwangi, 299 kilometers southwest of Denpasar of Bali and 957 kilometers southeast of Jakarta.

From Tuesday until early Wednesday Banyuwangi was rocked by quake four times with the strongest  6.5 on the Richter scale on Tuesday at 19:07:25 local time.(IGT)
