Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Anas Urbaningrum, the general chairman of ruling Democratic Party, is facing another tough hours of questioning by the anti corruption agency (KPK) today over possible involvement in a high profile graft case.
KPK already summoned last week Anas, who has been repeatedly accused by corruption convict Muhammad Nazarudin, former treasurer of the party, of being behind graft cases in a number of government projects.
"Again I come to honor the KPK's summon today and I am thankful that KPK considers what I told them last week as important," he told reporters before facing his investigators.
He came to KPK with a number of the party officials including Andi Nurpati, Saat Mustofa and Gede Pasek Suardika, who were also seen accompanying him last week.
"I read in newspapers that KPK wanted more information from me that means the clarification I already gave is useful for KPK in their investigation of the Hambalang case," Anas said.(IGT)
