"This is the first time the GSS is held in Asia. As a nation rich with spices that support the spa industry, Indonesia must promote its potentials to the world," said the director general.
Apart from spa business practitioners, the event will also be attended by figures from other sectors namely financial, medicine, real estate, manufacture and technology.
The summit's committee also has arranged a GSS Student Challenge competition to test college students of how to make the concept of an innovative and profitable spa.
The participants of the competition will include students from Gadjah Mada University (Yogyakarta), Chinese University (Hong Kong), Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management (Singapore) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. (*)
