(Antara Bali) - The Denpasar Art Space, a place where Balinese artists have
been exploring and showcasing their works, helps boost tourism in the
province.
"This space is a new cultural hub that is expected to become a tourist destination in Denpasar," the Secretary of Denpasar city administration, Anak Agung Rai Iswara, said here on Friday.
He added that the Denpasar Art Space has been attracting local artists to explore their creativity.
According to Iswara, the place can be used for workshop, training, discussion, art performance and other creative events.
"We would like to introduce Denpasar as a heritage city, a cultural city and a creative city to attract more tourists, both domestic and from abroad," he stated.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of Denpasar Art Exhibition, Wayan Redik, underlined that the Denpasar Art Space is in line with the vision of a harmonious Denpasar city.
He observed that the cultural-minded creative city is a landscape for all ideas to grow and become reality.
"The Denpasar Art Space is a real commitment to inspire creativity and usher an artistic atmosphere in the city," Redik emphasized. (WDY)
