Sleman, Yogyakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has been distributing thousands of Lebaran packages in Karanganyar since Thursday, in Solo on Friday, and now on Saturday morning at Prambanan in Sleman district.
President Jokowi and First Lady Iriana arrived at Al Muhajirin Ledoksari Mosque in Prambanan at 8.45am and greeted hundreds of people who had been waiting since the morning.
After that, the president distributed 750 Lebaran packages containing basic necessities to the residents of Ledoksari, Klurak, and Kranggan hamlets in Prambanan.
Earlier Thursday, the head of state also handed out similar packages in the Gondangrejo Village, Karanganyar District, in Central Java.
The president distributed two thousand food packages containing rice, sugar, cooking oil, and tea to people in seven hamlets of Kragan Village.
On Friday, President Jokowi distributed thousands of packages to the poor in Solo.
The president has this time distributed six thousand Lebaran packages to two thousand people from the villages of Sumber, Manahan, Banyuanyar, and Kadipiro, apart from Gilingan, and Nusukan, Presidential staff member Devid Agus revealed. (WDY)
