Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo left Jakarta on Sunday for a working visit to Central Sulawesi to officiate the Donggi Senoro liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in Uso Village, Batui Subdistrict, Banggai District, Central Sulawesi.

The President and party, which includes the First Lady Madam Iriani Joko Widodo, took off at Surabaya's Juanda Airport in East Java, at 8 a.m local time.

The presidential plane will take the presidential party to Hasanuddin Airport in Makassar, South Sulawesi.

From the South Sulawesi airport of Hasanuddin, the President and Party will continue their flight to Sukuran Aminduddin Amir Bubung Airport in Central Sulawesi. The President is expected to arrive at the airport at 14.40 a.m.

The President's entourage included Education and Culture Minister Anies Bawesdan and Health Minister Nila F Moeloek. The head of state is expected to be welcomed bby Central Sulawesi Governor Longki Djanggola and his wife Mrs Zalzulmida Aladin Djanggola.

In his visit to Banggai District, Central Sulawesi, the President will inaugurate an integrated gas Mega-project which integrated the upstream and downstream business areas.

The project is a joint venture among state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina's subsidiary Pertamina Hulu Energi, Medco Energi, Mitsubishi Corporation and Korea Gas Corporation.

During his visit, the President will also distribute social assistance cards to the disable (KASPDB), Indonesia Smart Card (KIP), Indonesia Health Card (KIS) and Family Welfare Cards (KKS) in Uso Village, Batui Subdistrict, Banggai District. (WDY )
