Denpasar, Bali (Antara Bali) -- The warden of the Denpasar class II-A penitentiary Sudjonggo has denied the implementation of a joint exercise for the relocation of narcotics convicts from Australia Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.

"There is no exercise, all is running as usual," Sudjonggo stated here on Friday.

According to Sudjonggo, the preparation for the departure of the drug convicts is still ongoing and just awaiting orders to proceed.

Sudjonggo arrived at the prison at 4.30 p.m., along with two persons wearing the police jackets of the Nusakambangan prison, where the previous executions were held.

In the meantime, the Bali provincial police have prepared over 100 personnel to secure the transfer of the Australian drug convicts in death row.

On April 17, 2005, the two Australians were caught in Bali trying to smuggle to Australia 8.3 kilograms of heroin worth some Rp40 billion.
