Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said company progress must be followed by workers' welfare improvement.
"In the spirit of the Labor Day 2013 I wish relations between companies and workers would be better," he said in his twitter account here on Tuesday ahead of the commemoration of the Labor Day on May 1.
He said labor wage must continue to be better in line with company progress. He said companies must be fair while illegal levies that have cost high-cost economy must be wiped out with regard to meeting reasonable workers' wage.
"Stop any kind of illegal levies so that cost could be reduced to increase the workers' wage,' he said. (*/M038/DWA)
