Jakarta (Antara Bali) - US Ambassador Scot Marciel has spoken about Indonesia-US economic cooperation as aired by the MNC Business on Monday, according to the US Embassy here on its official website on Tuesday.
The MNC Business aired its recent interview with the US ambassador on the "Revenews International" program.
During the hour-long interview, Ambassador Marciel highlighted the recovering U.S. economy, including improved employment numbers, strong investment, increased housing sales, and improved overall economic growth.
The Ambassador stressed the U.S. is and will continue to be a strong investment and trade partner with Indonesia as both countries work to improve business-to-business and person-to-person ties.
The interview also gave the Ambassador the opportunity to discuss the Millennium Challenge Compact-Indonesia, which is a $600 million assistance program from the United States to Indonesia that includes grants in three key areas: green technology, child's nutrition, and transparency in the public procurement process.
