Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Jakarta is to host the Food and Hotel Indonesia Exhibition 2013 to be held in Jakarta International Expo building, Central Jakarta, on April 10 to 13, an official said.
"The government fully supports this exhibition as it is considered as an effort to promote hotel and food products to public," Marketing Director at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Firmansyah Rahim said here on Tuesday.
About 1,300 participants from 39 countries will take part in the upcoming biennial exhibition. Among the 39 countries are the United States, Australia, Brazil, Italy, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia.
Meanwhile spokesman from the organizing committee PT Pamerindo Indonesia, Wiwiek Roberto, said the exhibition will also feature several side events such as the Third Barista Competition, Ninth Indonesia Salon Culinary, Wine Master Classes, Coffee Seminar and Workshop, Food Safety Seminar and Halal Food Symposium.
