Earthquake Shakes Central Maluku

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale rocked Central Maluku, on Tuesday at 9.59 am Western Indonesian Standard Time (WIB).

The quake's epicenter was located 2.66 degrees southern latitude and 129.33 degrees eastern longitude, 57 km northeast of Central Maluku, and at a depth of 10 km, the National Meteorological, Climatology and Geophysics Agency, said here Tuesday.(IGT/T007)
