Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Meteorology and Geophysics office recorded an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 Richter scale in Banyuwangi, East Java, on early Saturday.
The quake rocked Banyuwangi at 00.41 a.m. local time with epicenter in the sea 10 kilometers deep, 259 kilometers southwest of the coastal city or 274 kilometers southwest of Denpasar, Bali.
There was no report of casualty or damage to the property.
It was the third quake jolting Banyuwangi this week after ones on Wednesday and Tuesday with a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale.(*/T007)
