Samarinda (Antara Bali)  - East Kalimantan's Police Disaster Victim Identification team will ask for ante mortem data from the Australian embassy in Jakarta following the missing of an aircraft in the Kutai National Park that carried an Australian company's general manager.

"Because one of the victim is a foreigner, we are going to request the ante mortem data of Peter John Elliot, general manager of Elliot Geophysics International," said police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Budi Heryadi here Sunday.

Until the third day, since the disappearance of the chartered plane, owned by PT Intan Angkasa, only two of the victim's families have come to the ante mortem post at Temidung Airport in Samarinda.

"Only two members of the families of the pane's victims  have come to report to the post, namely the son of the missing pilot,  Capt. Marshal Basir, and  relatives of the Elliot Geophysics International surveyor Jandri Hendrizal. The data of a military staff who was on board the missing plane, Captain Suyoto has been obtained only by phone from his friend," he said.

Ante mortem data is specific physical characteristics such as a person's teeth, fingerprints, birthmarks, properties or clothing he or she has last used before missing.

"Ante mortem data will then be matched with those obtained from the victim's body to be carried out through a process of identification in the ante mortem post. However, we still expect that all of the passengers and the pilot will be found alive and safe," said Budi.(*/T007)
