Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Private investment in  economic development projects in Bali last year reached  Rp10.06 trillion.

The investment consisted of domestic capital Rp5.57 trillion and foreign capital Rp4.48 trillion, Bali administration public relations chief I Ketut Teneng said in Denpasar Wednesday.

He said most of the investment was in the construction of hotels, restaurants and the supporting facilities.

The domestic and foreign investment was lower than the target of Rp12.52 trillion in 4,227 approval certificates that had been issued.

Ketut Teneng said domestic investment has been realized by virtue of 4,192 permanent business licenses (IUT) worth Rp5.57 trillion, and foreign investment Rp4.48 trillion for 179 projects.(IGT)
