Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Police have named six students, from the Alliance of West Java Students Executive Boards (BEM), as suspects for vandalizing a picture of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
"They will be charged with breaking Article 170 of the Criminal Act on the vandalizing of goods," Jakarta Metropolitan Police Command spokesman Senior Commissioner Rikwanto said here on Thursday.
The students who were named suspects after being interrogated on Wednesday are Galih, Yofta, Novianto, Maulana, Yudi and Ahyar Rasyid Yudhistira.
Four of them are students of Pasundan University, the fifth is from the Telecommunications Institute and the sixth from Budi Pertiwi STIE in Karawang.
The police are still looking for two other students who were also involved in the incident.(IGT)
