Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono  ordered parties concerned to stop destructive actions in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara.

"The President has ordered the coordinating minister for political, security and legal affairs and the national police to take anticipatory measures to prevent destructive actions to happen there," presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha here on Thursday.

He said President Yudhoyono made the order in response to the burning of the office of the Bima district head that day.

Julian said all violations would be processed according to the law.

National Police chief General Timur Pradopo meanwhile said the police would investigate the incident and act against those that had broken laws.

He said the police were ready to secure any demonstration but they would act against any violation of laws.(IGT/T007)
