Indonesian AFF Cup Team To Leave For Hanoi For Second Leg

Bogor, W Java (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian team will leave for Hanoi on Sunday afternoon a day after defeating Vietnam in the first leg of the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Cup semifinals 2-1 on Saturday.

The two countries will play the second leg of the AFF Cup semifinals in the Vietnamese capital city on Dec. 7.

The Indonesia team is to fly to Hanoi with transit in Bangkok.

The players  and officials have no much time for rest, therefore, they would use the few days to recover before the second leg.

The team needs only a draw to go to the final. Yanto Basna and Farchudding Arianto would be able to play after being absent in the first leg for accumulation of yellow card.

Their places were taken over by Hansamu Yama  and Manahati Lestusen, who turned out to be solid.

The Austrian coach Alfred Riedl hoped that the team would play with higher spirit in the second leg against the favorite Vietnam in Hanoi.  (WDY)
