Kuala Lumpur (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left Kuala Lumpur for Brunei Darussalam on Saturday after having a two-day state visit in Malaysia.
Based on information gathered here from Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat on Saturday, President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo as well as entourage left for Brunei Darussalam from Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 8.20 a.m local time.
At Brunei Darussalam International Airport, President Joko Widodo and Mrs Iriana Joko Widodo will be welcomed with a state ceremony at 11 a.m local time.
The agenda of Jokowi's visit to Brunei Darussalam included a bilateral meeting between Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and the signing of cooperation between the Indonesian government and the Brunei Darussalam government at the Nurul Iman State Palace in Bandar Seri Begawan.
President Jokowi is also scheduled to make a visit to historic places in Brunei Darussalam and a state banquet to be held by Brunei Darussalam's Sultan in honor of the Indonesian president.
On the second day of his visit to the neighboring country, Jokowi will observe the Brunei LNG plant and hold a meeting with the Indonesian community in Brunei Darussalam. (WDY)
