Govt Buys Back Rp455 Billion Worth of State Bonds

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian government bought back state bonds worth Rp455 billion in the secondary market on Monday.

The direct buyback was aimed to manage state bond portfolio by withdrawing less liquid, fixed rate state bonds, the Directorate General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry said in a press statement released on Tuesday.

The state bonds are series FR0047 issued at a coupon of 10.00 percent. The average weighted price of the state bonds due on February 15, 2028 is 103.58 percent.

The settlement of the buyback transaction will be made on January 29, 2014 according to the rule. (*/DWA)
