Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA) - The Bali Regional Police revealed that the murder of Ukrainian citizen Igor Komarav (28) was planned by seven foreign nationals from various countries.
Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, in a press conference on Monday, conveyed that the seven foreign nationals had been named as suspects.
The verdict was the result of intensive investigations involving crime scene investigations at six different locations.
"After a lengthy investigation, we have named seven suspects, all of whom are foreign nationals," Adityajaya informed.
The case was divided into six crime scene clusters spread across four regions: Tabanan, Badung, Denpasar, and the dumping point for the body parts in Gianyar.
The murder was meticulously planned, as evidenced by the perpetrators' survey activities conducted one month prior to the incident.
While their identities have been confirmed, six of the seven suspects remain at large abroad, namely FN, RM, and DH from Ukraine; SM from Russia; and FA and NP from Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, the perpetrator, CBG, a Nigerian citizen, has been apprehended by Immigration.
