Jakarta (Antara Bali) - A moderate quake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale hits an area near Simeulue district, Aceh province, here on Wednesday 02.18 West Indonesia Time (WIB), data from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said.
The quake is centered at 409 kilometers southwest of Simeulue district at the depth of 10 kilometers. The quake has no potential to trigger tsunami. (*/DWA)
