Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Inflation is one indicator that determines the national economic policy posture and needs to be maintained so that it will not disturb people's purchasing power and welfare, said the Vice President.
"Efforts to control inflation are common tasks because inflation determines national policy posture such as the interest rate and the exchange of rupiah value," he said here Wednesday.
"Inflation is capable of undermining the economic ability and this diseases need to be prevented and not to be out of control," he said.
According to Beodiono, the efforts should be made to keep inflation under control among others by developing infrastructure in the production and consumption centers as part of the provision of logistics system. (IGT)
