President Ends Working Visit To Bali

Nusa Dua (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono wound up his two-day working visit in the resort island of Bali on Thursday afternoon.

The President and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono left Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali for Jakarta at 00.30 p.m. local time.

Yudhoyono arrived in Bali on Wednesday from a visit to Madiun and Magetan districts, East Java.

While in Bali, the President delivered a keynote address to a forum of the Indonesian Association of Young Businessmen (HIPMI) Economic Outlook 2013 themed "the government's policy for beginner entrepreneurs and local businessmen".

On Thursday morning, President Yudhoyono opened a regional consultation meeting of stakeholders related to post-2015 development agenda.

Earlier, during his one-day visit in Madiun and Magetan on Tuesday, the President, accompanied by Ani Yudhoyono, lawmaker Edhie Baskoro and a number of United Indonesia Cabinet members planted and harvested rice and inspected a cattle fattening farm as part of the government's pro-people programs.

The President's entourage includes Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Industry Minister MS Hidayat, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Businesses Minister Syarif Hasan and Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Mari Elka Pangestu.
