Palembang (Antara Bali) - Fertilizer producer PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang will soon replace its gas-fueled generator with the other one using coal for the factory operation, the company's manager said.
The replacement of gas-fueled generator with another one using coal was aimed at focusing the use of gas for producing the urea and ammonia, Pusri general manager Reza Esfan said here on Friday evening.
The company is currently preparing the administration process for the generator replacement, he said hoping that such replacement can start this year, Reza said.
Apart from that PT Pusri will also construct cargo vessel which can carry the Urea fertilizer in anticipating the superficiality of Musi river, he said.
The designed production capacity of PT Pusri has reached 2,262 million tonnes per year, Reza Esfan said.(*/T007)
