Nusa Dua (Antara Bali) - Indonesia has recommended Bali Communique or a joint agreement on the importance of knowledge sharing in the meeting of South-South countries held in Nusa Dua, Bali, recently.
"The recommendation is a joint agreement and desire for knowledge exchange cooperation among south countries," Vice Minister of National Development Planning Lukita Dinarsyah Tuwo said here Wednesday.
The knowledge covers three fields which can be shared to the developing countries, he said, adding that the fields concern development, democracy, administration and peace building as well as macro and micro economic management policies.
The agreement was a joint recommendation among Indonesia, the World Bank, the UN Development Programme (UNDP), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which would be offered to the participating countries.
Lukita said in addition to the knowledge exchange cooperation, the agreement encouraged countries with medium-scale economy to establish knowledge centers like the one in Indonesia.(IGT)
