Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Eight foreign tourists reported missing earlier have been found safe off Klungkung regency, Bali, police said on Friday.
The police search and rescue team and fishermen found the Tourists from France and Germany floating in the sea without their boat early on the day, Bali police chief Budi Gunawan said.
They lost their boat when they dived probably driven away by strong winds, Budi said.
Now they have been sent back to their hotel in Tulamben in the regency of Karangasem, he added.
They are part of 12 tourists including Italians diving off Klungkung , but four of them already returned earlier.
The weather is not favorable in Bali with strong winds and high sea waves, he said.(IGT/T007)
