Bandung (Antara Bali) - Bandung Tourism College (STP) will host the 10th Asia Tourism Forum on May 8-10, 2012, STP spokesman Anang Sutono said here on Tuesday.
Speaking at a press conference at STP campus, Anang said the Asia Tourism Forum is aimed to facilitate exchanges of information and to build a network among observers, academicians, practitioners, and decision makers in the tourism sector.
"The forum will be a meeting point for the observers, academicians, practitioners, the decision makers, and the government to discuss the results of the latest research in the tourism sector," Anang said.
The Asia Tourism Forum 2012 will be attended by ten ASEAN member states besides South Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, New Zealand, and Australia. France and Britain will attend as observers.
Five keynote speakers during the main session of the forum will be Prof. Wiendu Nuryanti of Indonesia, Chaye Chon and Haiyan Song of Hong Kong, Geoff Wall of Canada, and Abdul Kadir Haji Din of Malaysia.(IGT/T007)
