Thousands Of Tourist Visit Palabuhanratu

Sukabumi (Antara Bali) - More than 15 thousands tourists have been visiting Palabuhanratu beach, Sukabumi, West Java, since Friday.

"They come to Palabuhanratu not only to enjoy the long weekend but also to attend the Fishermen Day which is celebrated  this month," Spokeman of Palabuhanratu Lifeguards (Balawista) Erik said here on Sunday.

He said there were no report so far on accidents in the beach. He said all relevant parties cooperated with coast guards to ensure security.

"However, the room occupancy rate is only 55 percent of the capacity in the current long weekend. We hope that more tourists will be visiting the Palabuhanratu beach," he added.(IGT/T007)
