Denpasar (Antara Bali) - After officially opening a flight service between Jakarta and Haneda, Japan, on March 13, 2012, Garuda Indonesia starts offering tickets for a maiden flight between Denpasar-Haneda at a special price.
According to information from the airline company on Friday the maiden flight for the Denpasar-Haneda route would be carried out on April 27. The company however has not yet announced the price of the ticket.
Garuda plans to fly from Denpasar at 3pm and arrive in Haneda at 11pm local time.
Suranto, the senior general manager of Garuda Indonesia Western Area had said the route would be served by A330-300 plane.
Garuda before served three routes to three cities in Japan namely Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
Besides serving Jakarta-Haneda the state-owned company would soon also plan to open a Denpasar-Haneda flight service.(*/T007)
