Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up while the rupiah against the U.S. dollar also strengthened on Friday's market opening.
Rupiah exchange rate in Jakarta interbank transaction on Friday morning rose 50 points to move from the previous position Rp9.060 Rp9.010.
The IDX's Jakarta Composite Index opened up 10.16 points, or 0.27 percent to 3805.61, meanwhile Index of the 45 leading stocks (LQ45) rose 2.56 points, or 0.38 percent to 673.54 points position.
In early share trading in the IDX, the total shares traded was only recorded 18 stocks experienced a rose, 10 stocks declines and 15 stocks stagnant.
Share trading frequency also recorded as much as 436 times, with trade volume reached 29 million shares valued at Rp30, 228 billion.
Regional exchanges such as the Hang Seng index rose 192.94 points (1.05 percent) to a level of 18,571.17, the Nikkei-225 index fell 64.82 points (0.77 percent) to a level of 8,395.16 and Straits Times gained 9.16 points (0.34 percent) to a level of 2,673.96.(IGT)
