Kuta (Antara Bali) - Twenty-five pilots from the Indonesian Air Forces (TNI-AU) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) will conduct a four-day joint exercise in Bali, commander of Bali's Ngurah Rai air base Lt Col Sumarto said.
"They are 13 TNI-AU and 12 RAAF pilots," he said here on Monday before the exercise begins on Tuesday.
He said for the exercise the TNI-AU had deployed six F-16s and the RAAF eight F-18s.
The pilots from the two countries would conduct the exercise for four days in the fly zones south and west of the air base.
They would fly at an altitude of up to 50,000 feet in the exercise, he said.(**)
