Indonesia beats Hong Kong 3-1

Bekasi, W Java (Antaranews Bali) - Indonesian national soccer team defeated Hong Kong 3-1 in the last match in Group A of Asian Games 2018 here on Monday evening making it the champion of the group to pass to Round of 16.

The three goals were made by Irfan Jayain the 46th minute, Lilipaly in the 85th minute and Hanif Sjahbandi in the 94th minute.

Hong Kong shocked the host when it player Hok Ming Lau scored a goal in the 37th minute.

Indonesia however was able to equalize just minute after the second round started. Stefano Lilipaly passed a ball to Irfan Jaya who later dribbled and shot it towards the gate so hard to make Hong Kong`s goalkeeper Ho Chun Yuen unable to catch it.

Supported by around 30,000 spectators the host team became more spirited to dominate the play.

Stefano Lilipaly scored another goal in thd 85th minute to make his team lead and the victory was further confirmed to 3-1 in the 94th minute when Hanif Sjahbandi hit the ball he received from Lilipaly into the goal gate. (WDY)
