Cilacap, Central Java (Antara Bali) - Seventeen units of corpse
ambulances cars including 14 carrying a coffin each, arrived on
Wednesday on the island of Nusakambangan where 14 drug death row
prisoners are to be executed.
The cars including three as reserve units arrived in two groups. The first group of 8 cars arrived at 06.00 local time and the second group of 9 cars followed 30 minutes later .
The cars were ferried from Cilacap's Wijaya Pura harbor to the island .
The coffins are for the bodies of the 14 death row inmates now waiting for execution in an isolation cells of a prison house in Nusakambangan.
The authorities have not officially announced the date of execution and the names of the convicts to face the death squad.
However, a report said the 14 prisoners included 1.Abina Nwajaen, 2. Osiaz Sibamdi, 3. Zulfiqar Ali, 4. Merry Utami, 5. Gurdip Sighn and 6. Michael Titus, who have been moved from Tangerang prisons, 7. Freddy Budiman, 8. Frederic Luther, 9.Humprey Ejike, 10. Eugene Ape and 11. Cajetan Uchena from Jakarta prisoners; 12. Agus Hadi and 13. Pujo Lestari from Batam, and 14. Okonwo Nonso from Medan. (WDY)
