Mecca (Antara Bali) - Indonesian hajj pilgrims dying during the 2015 hajj season in Saudi Arabia has reached 597 following the finding on Saturday of the body of one previously reported missing.

The Indonesian Hajj Pilgrimage Organizers (PPIH) in Saudi Arabia has found the body of pilgrim Fatimah Binti Abdul Hamid who is previously reported missing after being treated at the ICU of the Arafah hospital.

Chief Indonesian Hajj organizer (Daker) for Mecca Arsyad Hidayat said here on Saturday night that the body of Fatimah was found at Al Mu'aishim Morgue.

"At 3 pm Saudi time, we obtained information that the identification team found a body named Fatimah Binti Abdul Hamid," Hidayat said.

The identity of the body named Fatimah is clearly seen on her identity wristband which contained the name, passport number and flight batch of the body, he said.

She came from the Banjarmasin embarkation point 01 of South Kalimantan, he added.

Thus, in this year's hajj pilgrimage season, Indonesian hajj pilgrims dying during the pilgrimage totaled 597. Of the number, 461 died during the pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, 12 killed in the crane collapse accident at the Haram Mosque on September 11, and 124 others died in the Mina stampede on September 24, 2015.
