Jakarta (Antara Bali)- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) received Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK) Arief Hidayat and MK Secretary General Janedjri M. Gaffar at the Merdeka Palace, here, Monday.
"As long as I know, the MK will organize an international event and will invite the president. This is one of the topics of discussion. I will ask the MK chairman later," Minister/State Secretary Pratikno informed the press, here, Monday.
Prior to his meeting with President Jokowi, Hidayat affirmed that he would convey a request to President Jokowi to deliver an opening speech during an international meeting to be held on August 14, 2015, to celebrate the anniversary of MK.
The MK has invited the chairmen of constitutional courts from 25 countries to participate in the meeting. (WDY)
