Singapore (Antara Bali) -- The national under-23 soccer team of Indonesia, Timnas U-23, lost 0-5 (0-2) to Thailand in the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2015 in Singapore on Saturday.

The goals for the Thai team were scored by Runrat Phumichantuk in the 13th and 51th minutes, Thitipan Puangjan in the 28th minute, Narubadin Weerawatnodom in the 56th minute, and Chanathip Songkrasin in the 89th minute.

The Indonesian squad lost all hope of competing in the final round with this major defeat.

However, Timnas U-23 still has a chance to win the bronze medal in the 2015 SEA Games in the match against Vietnam, which will be held in the same venue on Monday, June 15.

On Tuesday, June 2, Timnas U-23 had lost 2-4 (1-2) to Myanmar in the tournament being held in Singapore.

The goals for the Myanmarese team were scored by ST Ya in the 21st minute, Aung Si Thu in the 37th and 54th minutes, and Kyan Ziw Liw in the 65th minute.

The two goals for Timnas U-23 were scored by Abduh Lestaluhu in the 45th minute and Ahmad Nufiandani in the 70th minute. (WDY)
