Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) officially opened the Third Jakarta Food Security Summit (JFSS) held in the Jakarta Convention Center, here, Thursday.
President Jokowi is to hold a dialog with farmers attending the Summit being held until Friday (Feb. 13).
The JFSS 2015 is organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) and highlighted with seminars and a food expo.
A panel discussion on the empowerment of cooperatives as a key of success in the agricultural, animal husbandry and fishery fields, will also be organized.
The discussion's speakers will include the ministers of home affairs, trade, industry, cooperatives and small-medium scale enterprises, as well as maritime affairs and fisheries.
On the last day, the Kadin chairman will convey the Summit's recommendations to Vice President M Jusuf Kalla. (WDY)
