Jayapura (Antara Bali) - The resumption of production activities at US-owned PT Freeport Indonesia mine in Papua depends upon recommendation from the government's investigation team, the company's mining chief technician, Nurhadi Sabirin, said.

He said in a press statement to Antara here on Thursday he hoped the company would receive the recommendation it.

He said an investigation team set up by the government had conducted inspection following a recent incident at the mine's facility that left 28 people dead.

"We continued supporting the team to assure smooth process of the investigation and checking across the mining area and would follow up its recommendations seriously," he said. (M038)
