Jayapura (Antara Bali) - Around 27 employees of US gold and copper mining company PT Freeport Indonesia are still missing in a landslide occurring in underground mining area in Tembagapura, Papua Province, Tuesday.

Tembagapura Police Chief Adjunct Commissioner Sudirman said here on Wednesday, around 41 people were in the area when the disaster happened, and 14 of them were evacuated, including four dead bodies.

Search and rescue efforts are still going on to look for more survivors, he said. When the landslide occurred, the 41 people were in a class room for a training program.
