Nusa Dua (Antara Bali) - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expected the UN High Panel meeting to discuss sustainable development programs that could produce framework of the post-2015 development.

"We all have shared a vision for the eradication of poverty in many forms today. We must also strive to improve the welfare of the people and to create a better world through the development which involves all parties," the president said at the opening of the fourth meeting of the UN High Panel to discuss sustainable post-2015 development program, here Wednesday.

The conclusion of the three previous meetings on the MDGs program continued to be reported to the Secretary General in the coming months.

The president said that a framework is needed to fight global poverty in the direction of sustainable development. "To achieve this we need to encourage all the resources we have to empower the poor," he said. (*/M038)
