Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Former chief of the police's  traffic corps Ins. Gen. Djoko Susilo was today questioned by police detective agency  as witness in driving simulator corruption case in 2011 involving the traffic crops.

Djoko,  now the governor of the police academy, refused to answer reporters' questions when he arrived this morning at the police headquarters.

Police already named five suspects in the graft case but not including Djoko, who is the main suspect in the same case which is already being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

In the  police's list of suspects  include Djoko's former deputy Brig. Gena  Didik Purnomo, two other middle ranking police officers and two civilians.

Djoko was already named suspects by KPK before police moved to arrest their suspects  in the  Rp198 billion case.

Didik Purnomo and the two civilians  are also named suspects by KPK. The move by police drew strong criticism  questioning the motive  and accusing police of  trying to protect more generals from being  dragged into the case.(DWA/IGT)
