Palu (Antara Bali) - The Sigi district administration has distributed food aid for quake victims in a number of villages in this hardest hit areas .
At least four people were killed, scores of other were injured when a major quake 6.2 on the Richter scale hit a number of districts in Central Sulawesi on Saturday.
Sigi's deputy regent Livingstone Sango said on Monday the number of victims were feared to increase as no report yet received from some isolated areas like Kulawi and Lindu.
Livingstone said not all victims had received food aid, adding communications to some villages were cut with roads blocked or buried by piles of earth by landslides triggered by the quake.
He hopes communications to those villages could be restored soon to allow distribution of aid to the victims.(DWA)
