Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appointed four new Indonesian ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary, at the State Palace, here, Friday.
The newly installed ambassadors are Salman Al Farisi, ( to the United Arab Emirates; based in Abu Dhabi), B Saptomo (to Bulgaria and Albania; based in Sofia), Lt Gen (Retired) Safjen Nurdina (to Iraq; based in Baghdad), and Sunu Umahadi Sumarno (to Uganda, Kenya, Heles, the United Nations Environment Program/UNEP, Mauritius; based in Nairobi).
They are appointed based upon the Presidential Decrees No. 6/P/2012, dated February 6, 2012, and No. 7/P/2012, dated February 8, 2012.
Vice President Boediono, First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and several cabinet ministers were among the dignitaries present at the ceremony.(IGT)
