Sanur (Antara Bali) - Philips corporation has offered various products designed specially to solve the health problems of elderly people.
"Not only do we think of business and financial matters, but we also want to contribute to health care for the elderly," PT Philips Indonesia President Director Rob Fletcher said here on Thursday.
He made the statement on the sidelines of an international conference on "Population Aging Explosion: Opportunities and Challenges".
Rob Fletcher was invited by the conference organizer, Indonesia Academy of Science (AIPI), to be present as one of the participants from the business world.
The participants of the conference were made up of businessmen, government officials, scientists, and even civil society from various countries.
"Our products are designed specifically to help support the lifestyle of the elderly and to solve their health problems," Fletcher said.
In principle, he said, PT Philips was trying to help the elderly improve the quality of their health.(**)
