Sudan To Raise Number Of Scholarships For Indonesian Students: Envoy

Jakarta (Antara Bali) -- Sudan will increase the number of Indonesian students who can continue their studies in the country from the earlier limit of 60 each year to 100 students this year onwards, an envoy said.

"Starting this year, we will raise the number of Indonesian students permitted to study in Sudan from the earlier figure of 60 each year to 100 students," Sudanese Ambassador to Indonesia Abd Alrahim told Antara here on Saturday.

The Sudanese ambassador added that the increase in the number of scholarships for the students and the presence of Sudanese educational institutions in Indonesia is a manifestation of efforts to improve bilateral relations between Sudan and Indonesia in the field of culture and education.
