Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla is currently on a working visit that will take him to Papua, Maluku, and South Sulawesi provinces until Saturday (Feb 28).
The vice president accompanied by an entourage including his spouse, left Halim Perdanakusuma air force base on Wednesday at 11 pm local time, by a presidential plane Boeing 737-400 for Jayapura, Papua.
He is scheduled to officially open the 14th Congress of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) in Jayapura, on Thursday.
On the same day, he will leave for Ambon, Maluku Province, to officially open the Working Meeting of the National Association of Provincial Administrations Across Indonesia.
The next day, Friday (Feb 27), the vice president and his entourage will proceed to Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi Province, which is his hometown.
In Makassar, he will visit the University of Hasanudin and inaugurate the JK Center building. On Saturday (Feb 28), he will attend the inauguration of Prof DR Muhammad S.IP.,M.Si as a dean of the University of Hasanudin's Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. (WDY)
