Garuda to Open New Flight from Bali

Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia is planning to open four new international flight routes from Denpasar, Bali, to a number of major cities in the world this year.

"We plan to open new flight routes from Denpasar to Auckland, Brisbane, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur," Garuda General Manager for Bali Taufik Hidayat M said here on Tuesday.

The frequency of Garuda  Denpasar-Singapore vice versa flights will also be increased, he said.

The new flights will be opened in order to meet Garuda passengers' need for increased services, according to Taufik.

He said his airlines would also increased the number of its domestic routes, namely Denpasar-Bandung and Denpasar-Balikpapan.

"We hope the plans to increase the number of international and domestic routes would be realized in the middle of this year," he said. (IGT/T007)
