"The Indonesian government condemned the terror attacks that have left four people dead and about 40 wounded. The government also offered condolences and deep sympathy to the British government and the people, in particular to the victims and their families," a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry, Arrmanatha Nasir, said here on Thursday.
Four people were killed and at least 40 others injured on Wednesday after a car hit pedestrians and the assailant stabbed a police officer near the British parliament in London.
The Indonesian Embassy in London stated that no Indonesian citizen was among the victims of an incident that took place in front of the British parliament, Arrmanatha said.
The embassy has called for the Indonesian people to follow the local authorities order to avoid areas of Parliament Square, Whitehall, Westminster and Lambeth Bridge, Victoria Street to the intersection of Broadway and Victoria Embankment.
Indonesian citizens have been called to maintain communication links with other fellow citizens and avoid traveling in those areas.

Consular services at the embassy, at 30 Great Peter Street SW1P 2BU, continue as normal.
Meanwhile, Director of the Indonesian Citizens Protection at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lalu Muhammad Iqbal, noted the number of Indonesian citizens in the UK is 14,111 and about 3,000 of them are students.
The embassy will continue to monitor the situation and coordinate with the UK security forces, Iqbal said.(WDY)
