Jimbaran (Antara Bali) - Ayana Resort and Spa Bali launched a new Kids Club program ahead of the peak holiday season, to better cater for families traveling to Bali.
"Before launched that program, we has renovated its Kids Club facilities," Director of Public Relations Marian Hinchliffe, said here, Thursday.
The new Kids Club facilities include new flooring to upgrade safety and brighten the room, flat screen TV, X-Box, Wii, trampoline, 'foosball' table football, children's billiards table, additional outdoor furniture and playground equipment, and table tennis.
The activities program has been designed to stimulate and entertain children of various ages. The Rai ('youngest' in Balinese) program is for children aged 2-4, while the Raka ('eldest' in Balinese) is for children aged 5 and above.
New activities include 'Paint-a-Pot' ceramics; an outdoor petting zoo including lambs, pigs, rabbits and ducks; Balinese dress-ups and traditional games.
In addition, children receive a welcome gift upon check-in, while the resort's babysitters have completed intensive training including first aid to upgrade their skills.
The enhancement of the Kids Club follows the launch of Ayana's Family Holiday Package, providing recreation for the kids and relaxation for the parents.
Mum and dad will enjoy spa pampering, gourmet dining and the opportunity to relax poolside, content in the knowledge that their children are being entertained, stimulated and having the time of their lives with cultural and craft activities, yoga, and a 77-hectare resort to explore.
Ayana Resort and Spa, named after a 'place of refuge' in Sanskrit. Ayana is perched on limestone cliffs up to 30 meters above the Indian Ocean near Jimbaran Bay on Bali's south-western peninsula.
The 77-hectare property enjoys majestic views and a secluded location across its 1.3 kilometer coastline, yet is just 15 minutes from Bali's airport. The 368 guestrooms comprise 78 private pool villas and 290-room hotel.(*)
