President Departs For Malang To Visit Hasyim Muzadi

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left Jakarta for Malang, East Java, on Wednesday morning to visit Presidential Advisory Council member Hasyim Muzadi who is convalescing after an ailment.

The president, along with his entourage, departed from the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta at 8 a.m. local time and was scheduled to arrive at Malang's Abdulrahman Saleh Airport at 9:30 a.m. local time.

From the airport, President Jokowi will head to Muzadi's residence at the Al Hikam Islamic Boarding School.

Muzadi, the founder of the Al Hikam Islamic Boarding School, underwent treatment at the Lavalette Hospital in Malang due to his poor health condition at the time.

However, after having undergone medical treatment for several days, the health condition of the former chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama Organization improved, and the doctors allowed him to leave the hospital. (WDY)
